The Royal Families are a fundraising group set up by our players' wives and girlfriends in support of local charities.

We have a dedicated Royal Families section here at the official site with complete details and latest news.

They ran a series of fundraising events during the 2006/7 Premiership season, raising more than £112,000.

Background info
Co-founder Amanda Hahnemann, wife of goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann said, "We've been overwhelmed by the backing we've received and we'd like to thank everybody who has supported us."

Club sponsors Kyocera have come on board with offers of support and Tracey Rawling-Church said, "As club sponsor, Kyocera are very pleased to establish a strong relationship with the Royal Families and to help them continue the excellent work they have started.

"Initially we have offered them some help with their marketing and planning activities and will assist with allowing them to use our facilities and printing and photocopying products.

"The activities they are involved with will make a difference to people's lives in Berkshire and we look forward to supporting them long into the future."

Two of the charities that will benefit from 'The Royal Families' are PACT (Parents And Children Together) and BWA (Berkshire Women's Aid).
