Ivar meets Reading Stars
On Wednesday evening, Royals vice-captain Ivar Ingimarsson attended the Premier League Reading Stars awards at the Madejski Stadium Study Support Centre.
The awards were run in conjuction with three libraries across Reading, and around 50 children came along for the ceremony.
Certificates were handed out to those in attendance, while we also dished out signed balls and a signed shirt to those who had read the most.
Tickets for our upcoming home game against Fulham were also given out as a reward.
Ivar stayed to sign autographs, and also held a Q&A in which he revealed that his favourite book is Nelson Mandela's autobiography.
He also like Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings. He reads to his young children in both Icelandic and English.
