The Royals received a visit from American youth football club Charlotte United last weekend.

Our Community Trust has recently established an official partnership with the North Carolina club, who boast a membership of 1,300 players, and we were delighted to welcome Vic Johnson and Neil Orridge to Berkshire.

Vic and Neil spent four days looking at our facilities and our coaching methods, making trips to our Hogwood Park training ground as well as the Blackburn game.

Royals Community coach Ryan Williams will be visiting Charlotte later in the month to help run a youth football tournament which has more than 250 teams entered, and we will return to North Carolina later in the summer to help run a soccer camp.
