Ron Grant would like to thank everyone who has wished him well over the last couple of weeks.

Kit man Ron fractured his hip in an accident over Christmas, and has been overwhelmed by the number of get well messages he has received.

He called our media office this morning to request that we put out a thank you message on his behalf.

He said, "I've just had so many cards, and I really want to say thank you to everyone who has taken time to get in touch.

"I'd love to be able to get back to everyone personally, but there have just been so many!

"I'm feeling a lot better now, I should be back up and about in a few weeks hopefully."
