Steve Coppell says he will consider making changes for this afternoon's sell out game with Birmingham.

Although we performed well at Anfield last week, Steve says there is still room for improvement as we prepare to face the Blues.

He told Reading World, "There are things I have to think about. We've got competition, we've got a full squad at the moment. Players who aren't playing think they should be.

"I made changes at Middlesbrough, it had the effect of two wins and a loss, so maybe a couple more changes would have the same effect.

"I was at the reserve game on Monday, it wasn't very satisfactory. Nobody pushed their cleam, which was disappointing.

"I've got things in my mind, but I know that whatever eleven I put out will be so determined to get three points for the team."

Martin Taylor is back for the visitors after suspension, but Steve does not expect him to start.

He said, "I don't think he'll play, not because of any residue thinking from the [Eduardo] challenge, but because the team has been doing alright.

"I've seen them, they look solid. I don't think he'll change it, just from that point of view, not politics."

Today's game is completely sold out, but you can listen live on Reading World, kick off 3pm.

Our half price kit sale begins at 9am in the Megastore - more details here.
