Slight setback for Little
Glen Little has suffered a minor setback as he recovers from long term injury.
The winger has not played for almost a year because of an achilles problem, and he has picked up a minor hamstring problem that will sideline him for a short while.
He had pencilled in a return to action for our reserves away to Fulham next Tuesday, but that will be placed on hold.
Boss Steve Coppell told Reading World, "He had a scan this week, and it showed a very small hamstring strain, we're not getting carried away, it's a slight one.
"We had tried to avoid it, but it's almost inevitable after nine months out when you try intensively to come back in a short space of time.
"There are demands on other parts of the body. He's tweaked his hamstring, I don't think it's significant and he should train next week."
Our other injuries at the moment see Graeme Murty sidelined with a knee problem, and he had an injection this week. Brynjar Gunnarsson had a thigh operation almost two weeks ago and will be out another few weeks.
