Aaron Brown has joined League One side Walsall on loan until the end of this season.

Brown, 24, joined the Royals from non-league Tamworth in November 2005, but is yet to make a first team appearance.

He was on the bench for a couple of games in our Championship-winning season, but a broken ankle in the summer of 2006 very much stifled his progress.

He will go straight into Saddlers' squad for their game with Southend this weekend, and he could face another of our players Hal Robson-Kanu, currently on loan at Roots Hall.

Earlier today, Leroy Lita extended his loan at Charlton until the end of the season, and we now have 14 players loaned.
