Coppell: 'Lita has changed'
Steve Coppell says Leroy Lita has come back from his loan at Charlton with renewed vigour and a spring in his step.
Lita was recalled by Coppell at the start of this week, and the frontman will be involved at Wigan on Saturday.
Steve has been impressed by Leroy out on the training pitch, and says there is a 'visible change' in his manner.
Speaking to our online TV station Reading World, Steve said, "He's a different trainer than the one just before he went away on loan.
"Of the course of the season nobody comes in exactly the same every day, and there's a visible change in mentality since he came back. He's got the bit between his teeth.
"He will be involved this weekend, and I hope it's worked out for the best in the end. How you get there doesn't matter. If we get to where we want by May 11th, nobody will worry how we got there.
"I'd have been equally as happy for Leroy to have stayed here and had the mentality shift, but at the time he couldn't see himself getting a game.
"We've not flogged the players in training this week, you can't at this time of the year, but you can see the indications with him."
Coppell has also said Glen Little will be involved against the Latics this weekend after sitting out the Arsenal game. The boss will make a number of changes to his team.
