Brynjar Gunnarsson has had another injection to help cure his groin injury.

The Icelander had an operation on the problem earlier this season, and played the full 90 minutes for our reserves in a friendly match last week.

He was hoping to get back into the first team reckoning soon, but has been delayed after feeling some discomfort in training.

Physio Jon Fearn told readingfc.co.uk, "Last Friday he had a slight reaction in training, he had coped well before then but some discomfort returned.

"We'll wait for the injury to settle down after the injection in the next 24/48 hours then we'll change the angle of training."

Jimmy Kebe came off against Arsenal last week, but Jon confirmed he will be back in full training on Friday.

Scott Golbourne has a pelvic problem at the moment and is probably out for the season. Oliver Bozanic is back in Australia after contracting glandular fever.
