Boss not looking at other fixtures
Steve Coppell says has not looked at the other fixtures involving teams around us as the bottom of the Barclays Premier League.
Coppell has always maintained 100% focus on his own team, even at this very tense stage of the season.
He told Reading World, "I've resisted the tempation to look at other fixtures, I just look at ours. I still firmly believe that we can get sufficient points to get out of any kind of trouble.
"I probably think two wins will keep us safe. We've been saying things for a while, the Fulham game was a chance to get in a good position but we let ourselves down.
"This is another opportunity, that's how we look at it. With 35 ganes gone and three left to play, we are where we deserve to be. We have to earn something in these games. What we have is not enough."
Reading go into this game knowing that three straight wins will guarantee their safety.
If we win this weekend and Birmingham lose at home to Liverpool, then victory in our final home game against Tottenham would be enough to keep us up.
