More than £1500 was raised at the Tottenham home game for the Army Benevolent Fund and they would like to thanks everyone who donated.

The Fund are the Army's National Charity, committed to the welfare of soldiers, former soldiers and their families in times of real need.

For the Golden Gamble, we were proud to welcome the famous Chelsea Pensioners in their scarlet jackets.

After the game we received the following message from the Fund's Berkshire Committee:

'The Berkshire Committee of the ABF are most grateful to the Chairman, Management, Staff and, most importantly, the Supporters of Reading Football Club for their most generous donations to the Charity Bucket Collection at last Saturday's Match.

'Over one thousand five hundred pounds was collected, all of which will spent to improve the welfare and well being of Soldiers, former Soldiers and their families living in Berkshire.'
