Residential training camp for kids
This August, the Royals will be running its first ever residential training camp for youngsters, and bookings are now being taken.
The scheme runs from 17th to 22nd August at Licensed Victuallers' School in Ascot, and is in association with well-established company Let Me Play.
The camp allows players aged 10-18 to get closer to the club and provides an exclusive insight into how RFC coach young players toward reaching their full potential. It is open to both boys and girls on separate camps.
In this unique opportunity participants will get to sample:
- Coaching from highly qualified Reading FC Coaches who coach regularly with the Club. The Coaches are experts in talent identification, developing technical ability and team tactical play.
- Behind the scenes tour of the Club
- Train at the Academy Centre where all promising young players at the Club play.
- Meet a Reading FC Footballer and hear what it is like to play for this Premiership side.
- Skill development sessions
- Games and competitions
- Awards and prizes
- Reading FC goody bag including Camp T-Shirt
