Steve Coppell is not expecting any chances to his coaching staff this summer.

The Royals boss leads a tight-knit group including Kevin Dillon, Wally Downes, Brian McDermott and Nigel Gibbs among others, and he believes they offer a good blend.

He told readingfc.co.uk, "I don't think there will be any changes to the coaching staff.

"It's still to be decided and coaches have got to finalise their deals.

"Like players, it's very competitive and I think I've got some terrific coaches. If another club comes in and asks if they want to work in the Premiership, it's where you want to be.

"But I would expect us to have the same group of staff when training starts in July."
