Coppell will not tolerate dissenters
Royals boss Steve Coppell has said that there is no place in his squad for players who want to leave the Club.
A great deal of press speculation has surrounded a number of players in recent weeks, and Coppell stated, "I don't want anyone here who doesn't want to be here.
"If there's someone who doesn't want to be here, we have a market valuation and if that is met they can leave.
"I will speak to the players individually, look them in the eye and see what their intent is.
"If they don't want to be here, I don't want to work with them - and I doubt the Reading public would want to watch them either."
Steve admitted there have been enquiries for some of his players, saying, "You get speculative phone calls and faxes at this time of the year, and there have been some written offers.
"But I would emphasise that we have no financial need to sell and if anybody is sold it will be on our terms. We won't sell anyone below our market valuation."
