Dillon satisfied with performance
Kevin Dillon declared himself satisfied after seeing Reading win their pre-season friendly 2-0 at Forest Green Rovers last night.
Jimmy Kebe and Jem Karacan volleyed home in the first half to give us victory, and we could have had a few more goals, while we were denied a couple of clear penalties.
Kevin said, "It was a good workout, they're a decent team, it was a great pitch and the atmosphere was good.
"There was plenty of unselfish running, people were finding space, there were a couple of terrific finishes as well, great strikes from Jimmy and Jem.
"The fitness is never a concern at this stage, we've only been back a week and a half, it was the first 90 minutes so that was good to see.
"Hal Robson-Kanu has tweaked his hamstring but we don't think it was serious, so it was a good workout.
"Kits was supposed to play but he's not well, he might play at Havant now but if not then on Saturday at Milton Keynes."
Video highlights from Forest Green are online on Reading World now.
