The Club have received confirmation from the Cameroon FA that Andre Bikey will be part of their squad for the Olympics in Beijing, China this summer.

Andre is now certain to be out of England when we begin our Coca-Cola Championship campaign away to Nottingham Forest on 10th August, and also for our Carling Cup game at Dagenham & Redbridge two days later.

If Cameroon progress to the quarter final he will then be away for the first home game of the season against Plymouth, and then if they make the semis or final he will also miss our match at Charlton on 23rd August.

Goalkeeper Adam Federici has also been selected by Australia for these games, and he too will definitely miss the Forest and Dagenham games at the very least.

Both Bikey and Federici leave the UK this weekend. Bikey goes to Germany for a training camp, and then on to Hong Kong for a pre-Olympic tournament before going to Beijing, where their group includes Italy, Korea and Honduras.

Federici flies out to Australia first, and they the Socceroos will do battle with Japan and Korea in warm-up matches before going over to China. In his tough group are Argentina, Cote D'Ivoire and Serbia.
