Leroy Lita was in the spotlight after scoring all four goals against Trollhattan last night, and the Royals' management were very pleased with his return.

Lita scored four goals in the second half, and used his head, left foot and right foot to find the back of the net.

Boss Steve Coppell said, "Leroy had a real sharp edge in the second half, we had more purpose, more crosses and more shots and it was a really good return.

"Leroy was dissatisfied with last season and he has a point to prove. Has he come back with a purpose? Yes and no. There is still a feeling we might be prayed upon by Premier League clubs.

"There is a strange feeling, not a bad feeling and a little bit of anticipation, so we have yet to get into a really strong flow together.

"He's a player who thrives on goals, when he scores he gets better, faster and stronger. All of those things become better.

"Sometimes when he doesn't score his head goes down a little, but I knew once he scored there was a great chance he'd get more."

First team coach Kevin Dillon was asked about Lita's future, and said the striker's performance speaks volumes for his desire.

"Just have a look at how he played, you can see from that. He wants to be here, wants to play and wants to score goals.

"He's got an infectious attitude, he's a big players for us and I hope he continues in this vein. When it's in the box he scores, that's his game."
