1. Who has been invited to take part in the Royals QuickPay trial?
Everyone seated in the Upper West Stand in blocks GU8 to GU12 inclusive. Other areas in the stadium are not included in this trial. The tills in the Upper West Stand are the only ones enabled to operate QuickPay.

2. Why haven't other fans been invited to take part?
As this is a trial, we have only installed the tills and balance checker machines in the Upper West Stand. If the trial is successful, we will look at launching QuickPay in the rest of the stadium next season.

3. Why will Royals QuickPay make service faster?
Taking cash and giving change add to the time it takes our servers to deal with each customer. QuickPay does not need any cash to change hands, therefore it will help the queue to move faster.

4. How do I know the balance on my card?
You can check the balance on your Reading FC Season Ticket/Member Card online at https://www.fortress-rfc.co.uk, at one of the QuickPay machines on the concourse or on the till display at the kiosk when you purchase.

5. What happens if I forget to add QuickPay top up to my card before arriving at the stadium?
To get your refreshments as quickly as possible, we recommend you add QuickPay top up to your Reading FC Season Ticket/Member card at https://www.fortress-rfc.co.uk before arriving at the stadium. However, on matchdays you will be able top up in cash at the QuickPay top up point or with one of the QuickPay team in the Upper West. Also, payments via text message can be made at any time - make sure you register your mobile phone first at https://www.fortress-rfc.co.uk. Text QUICK plus your 4 digit PIN and the amount in pounds you want to top up (eg. QUICK 2233 10) to 60066. The text message service costs 25p plus your standard network rate.

6. What happens if I want to make purchases greater than the value of the balance on my Card? (eg. drinks cost £12, balance on card is £10).
The tills will only allow food & drink purchases up the value of your QuickPay balance. If you wish to purchase additional food & drinks you will need to add extra top up onto your Card via cash or text message (as in 5 above)

7. Which food & drink outlets are included in the trial?
The outlets in the Upper West Stand concourse will be included in the trial. Other outlets within the Stadium, and outside kiosks are not included in the trial.

8. What do I do if I have any problems?
On matchdays please contact a Steward or your Server with any problems. Outside of matchdays please email royalsquickpay@readingfc.co.uk, or call 0870 999 1871

9. Will I get a receipt for my QuickPay top up, whether I've used a Credit/Debit card on the website, text message or cash?
Receipts are available whichever method you choose to use to add QuickPay top up onto your Reading FC Season Ticket/Member Card.

10. What happens to my QuickPay top up if I lose my Reading FC Season Ticket/Member card?
If your Reading FC Season Ticket/Member card is lost or stolen, your cash is protected when you report it to a member of Reading FC staff immediately either in person or by calling 0870 999 1871. Once you have reported the issue, your card will be deactivated both for QuickPay and for stadium entry and any fraudulent purchases made using cash stored on your card will be refunded.

11. How can I buy food & drinks if I forget to bring my Reading FC Season Ticket/Member card to the stadium, or if I am entering with a paper ticket?
Kiosk cards are available to purchase from machines on the Upper West concourse in denominations of £5, £10 or £20. They can be topped up in the same way as a Reading FC Season Ticket/Member card. The refund policy is the same as that which applied to QuickPay top ups on Reading FC Season Tickets/Member cards (see 15 and 16 below). There is no way of obtaining a refund if your Kiosk Card is lost or stolen.

12. What happens if my Reading FC Season Ticket/Member card stops working?
Contact one of the the Reading FC Customer Support Staff outside the stadium (identified by their red jackets) who will be able to advise what to do.

13. I have forgotten my QuickPay password, what should I do?
Email royalsquickpay@readingfc.co.uk or call 0870 999 1871 and we will reset your password.

14. Will QuickPay work for London Irish matches?
Royals QuickPay is currently being trialled by Reading Football Club, so London Irish matches are not included. Kiosk tills will take cash in the usual way.

15. What happens if I change my mind, after I've added the QuickPay top up onto my Reading FC Season Ticket/Member Card?
You can obtain a refund by downloading the refund form and completing and posting the form to us. We will charge a £1 admin fee to process the refund if the trial is still in progress, or if the trial is extended to cover the entire stadium for 08/09 season.

16. What happens to my money if the QuickPay system is not rolled out to the entire stadium next season?
If we decide not to continue with QuickPay next season, we will provide a full refund of your QuickPay cash balance, with no admin fee. You will need to complete the refund form, available on the website and post it to us so we can process the refund.

17. How does the 10% discount offer work?
The 10% discount offer applies to food & drink purchased from concourse kiosks in the Upper West North area (serving blocks GU8 to GU12) during the trial period. The discount will be automatically applied at the till point.
