These terms and conditions apply to the Reading Football Club Royals QuickPay scheme.

Use of your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card or purchase of a Kiosk Card for Royals QuickPay will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. Obtaining your Reading FC Season Ticket/Member Card
You can obtain a Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card from the Ticket Office. Your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card is issued by, and remains the property of, The Reading Football Club Limited, RG2 0FL.

Using your Reading FC Season Ticket/Member Card
You can only use your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card at participating Reading Football Club food outlets.

It is not a credit card, charge card or debit card. Before you can use your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card for QuickPay you will need to put cash onto your card.

Obtaining your Kiosk Card
If you do not wish to use your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card to store QuickPay cash you can obtain a Kiosk Card from the machines on the concourse. Kiosk Cards are pre-loaded with cash in £10 or £20 denominations. You can store cash on a Kiosk Card in the same way as Reading Football Club Season Tickets/Member Cards. You can top up Kiosk Cards via cash methods see below. Kiosk cards can only be used at participating Reading Football Club food outlets.

Putting cash onto your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card
You can top up your card by the following methods: 

Online at https://www.fortress-rfc.co.uk. Minimum top up £1, maximum top up £50.

By text message. To set up text message top ups, go to https://www.fortress-rfc.co.uk to register your mobile phone and set up a four-digit PIN. You can then top up anytime from your mobile. Text 'QUICK, your 4 digit PIN, the amount in pounds' to 60066. Eg. 'QUICK 1234 10' to top up £10. Texts cost 25p plus standard network rate. Minimum top up amount is £1, maximum amount is £50.

QuickPay top up point - Use cash on matchdays in the Upper West North at our dedicated top up points. You can then use your card to purchase at the tills. Maximum top up amount is £50.

QuickPay team - Use cash on the day with the QuickPay team, who will be moving around the Upper West North concourse on matchdays. You can then use your card to purchase at the tills. Top up £10 or £20 in cash.

You can check your QuickPay cash balance at any time online, at the QuickPay Balance Checker machines situated in the concourse or at the time of purchase on the till display

Refunds
You are entitled to a refund of QuickPay cash stored on your card at any time provided: (i) the balance on your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card or Kiosk Card is at least £1; (ii) Reading Football Club Limited has no reason to suspect that you are engaged in fraudulent or other criminal activities; and (iii) Reading Football Club Limited is not prohibited from redeeming that stored value by any applicable law, regulation, court order or instruction or guidance of a competent regulatory authority.

If you wish to apply for a refund, you must download the refund form, complete it and mail it to Reading Football Club, Royals QuickPay Processing, Madejski Stadium, Junction 11 M4, Reading, Berkshire RG2 0FL. A redemption fee of £1 will be applied each time that you redeem value stored on your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card. This fee is charged in respect of the administrative costs of processing your refund payment.

At the end of the initial trial period, if Reading Football Club decides not to roll out the QuickPay system to the rest of the stadium in season 08/09, we will provide a full refund of your QuickPay cash balance, with no admin fee. You will need to complete the refund form and mail it to the Reading Football Club at the address above.

Any refund payment amount will be paid to you either by electronic transfer to the debit or credit card that you most recently used to credit funds to your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card, by BACS transfer to your chosen bank account or by cheque to your registered home address.
In the case of applications for refunds to Kiosk Cards, the Kiosk Card must be posted to the Reading Football Club along with the refund application form.

To enable us to comply with our legal obligations, we may need to carry out checks to verify your identity before processing a refund request.

Refunds will be processed within one calendar month of Reading Football Club receiving your refund application.

Loss, theft, damage
You should treat your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card like cash in a wallet. If you lose your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card or if it is stolen, you may lose any cash which is stored on it in the same way as if you lost your wallet.

You should immediately report any loss, theft, fraudulent or unauthorised use of your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card to the Ticket Office in person or by calling 0870 999 1871. Once you have reported the issue, your card will be deactivated both for QuickPay and for stadium entry. Any fraudulent purchases made after you have reported the loss will be refunded.

If your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card is damaged or malfunctions, you should report immediately to Reading Football Club by contacting a member of Reading Football Club staff in person, or calling 0870 999 1871. Reading Football Club will reinstate your QuickPay cash balance on your new card.

In the case of the loss or theft of Kiosk Cards, Reading Football Club cannot deactivate the card and will not offer any refund. If your Kiosk card is damaged or malfunctions you must apply for a refund as above.

Replacing Reading FC Season Tickets/Member Cards
If your card is stolen and you provide a Police Crime Reference number, Reading Football Club will replace your Season Ticket/Member Card free of charge. Otherwise a replacement is subject to an administration fee of up to £2. The card will be delivered to your registered home address, usually within 5 days of you first notifying Reading Football Club Limited of the incident. Replacement cards will be posted to your registered home address only. The Reading Football Club Limited reserves the right to charge a replacement card fee for each replacement card in the event that you are issued with more than two replacement cards within any 6 month period.

If you subsequently find or retrieve a Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card which you have reported lost or stolen, you must notify us immediately.

Circumstances in which Reading Football Club Limited may determine, in its sole discretion, that it will not replace your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card include those where it reasonably believes that the notified incident has been caused by your wilful breach of these Terms and Conditions or if there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that you are or have been engaged in fraudulent or other unlawful conduct.

Complaints Procedure
Complaints regarding any element of the service provided by Reading Football Club should be sent in writing to Reading Football Club Ltd, Customer Service Department, Madejski Stadium, Junction 11, M4, Reading, RG2 0FL, or by email to royalsquickpay@readingfc.co.uk. All complaints will be subject to the Reading Football Club Complaints Procedure which will be provided to you on your request.

Compensation
The Financial Ombudsman Compensation Service is not applicable to your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card. Reading Football Club Limited do not offer any other compensation schemes to cover losses claimed in connection with your Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card.

Privacy
The Reading Football Club Card Privacy Policy will apply whenever you provide us with personal information, and is incorporated by reference into these terms and conditions. Except as required by law, or in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Reading Football Club Card Privacy Policy, your personal information will not be passed to any other persons without your permission.

Liability of Reading Football Club Limited
The Reading Football Club Limited shall not be liable for any default resulting directly or indirectly from any cause beyond our control, including, but not limited to, failure of network services, mobile phone networks and failure of data processing systems. To the extent permitted by law, all conditions or warranties implied by law, statute or otherwise are expressly excluded.

Variation
The Reading Football Club Limited reserves the right to amend or waive any provision of these terms and conditions from time to time and at any time, or to terminate the Reading Football Club Royals Quickpay scheme on reasonable notice. The terms and conditions applicable to the use of a Reading Football Club Season Ticket/Member Card shall at any time be the terms and conditions published on this website.

Assignment
Reading Football Club Limited may assign the benefit of these Terms and Conditions to any other company in the same group of companies as Reading Football Club Limited. If Reading Football Club Limited assigns the benefit of these Terms and Conditions, your rights will not be affected.

Governing law
These terms and conditions are governed by English law.
