Five members of the Royals Academy have been called into an England under 16s training camp between 13th-16th August.

The players are Abdulai Baggie, Tom Browne, Angus MacDonald, Jack Mills and Jacob Walcott.

In addition, David Nwaogu from our under 15 squad has been placed on standby.

Academy Manager Eamonn Dolan said, "This is very positive news for the Club and we congratulate the boys - but we'd also remind them the boring old message... the hard work starts now!

"Hopefully this experience will give them added confidence, and I am sure the new challenges they face with England will make them better players.

"This is also testament to the work that goes in from our coaching staff such as Nas Bashir, Geoff Warner, Martin Kuhl and Geoff Taylor."
