The Royals under 18s got their season off to a cracking start on Saturday.

Our youngster travelled to Derby, and earned an impressive 3-1 victory.

Derby opened the scoring, but we came back to earn a cracking win.

Nicholas Bignall [pictured] and Gylfi Sigurdsson scored before Mitchell Bryant added the third on his full under 18s debut.

Eamonn Dolan's men will be hoping to repeat their good form from last season, when they finished second in their Academy league and only lost in the FA Youth Cup to eventual winners Liverpool.
