Wondergoal delights Icelander
Gylfi Sigurdsson was left delighted after a 40-yard wondergoal for the under 18s last weekend.
Our boys defeated Derby 3-1 in their opening game of the season, and the Iceland youth international scored a quite sensational goal.
He received the ball some 40 yards out, and showed excellent footwork to step past his man. He then unleashed an amazing lob over County's keeper, and it flew in inches under the crossbar for an incredible goal.
The goal showed incredible vision and technique, and it was also an important strike to put us 2-1 ahead not long before half time, having earlier trailed.

The official site caught up with the youngster, and he expained, "I got the ball from Bigsy [Nicholas Bignall], I'd seen the keeper off his line so I just had a shot!
"It was quite lucky I suppose! I'd tried it before last season, it didn't come off that time but I was really pleased with this one.
"It was a really good win for the team in a hard away game so it was great to get three points. We're playing really well as a team."
