Our scholar Kelvin Bossman has returned to the UK after playing for Ghana in the under 17s World Cup.

He was the only player not based in Ghana to be included in the squad.

He scored in one of their games against Trinidad, and the young Black Stars performed very well

They reached the third/fourth play-off before losing to Germany in extra time.

Bossman became a full-time scholar with the Royals this summer after previously being with us as a schoolboy.

Fellow Academy player Gylfi Sigurdsson was away with Iceland's youth last weekend, scoring in both games of a double header with Scotland.
