Our Academy are busy preparing for a couple of important games this weekend.

Firstly, Abdulai Baggie is in England's under 16s squad for their Victory Shield match against Wales on Friday night.

The game is live on Sky Sports, and kicks off at 7:45pm at AFC Telford.

Felow Royals Tom Browne, Angus MacDonald and Jacob Walcott were all on standby for this fixture.

Then on Saturday morning our under 18s host league leaders Aston Villa at Hogwood Park.

We are currently one point behind Villa in second place.

Meanwhile, Oliver Kelly is in contention again after starting for Ireland in an u16s friendly with Northern Ireland. His team were defeated 2-1.

Academy products James Henry and Hal Robson-Kanu have an England u19s international call-up coming up when they face Germany in Elversberg on 14th November.

That game will also be live on Sky Sports.
