Our Academy will travel to Northampton Town for the third round of the FA Youth Cup.

The Cobblers faced Tiverton Town last night, and earned a 6-2 victory. Shaun Goodall was the star of the show, notching a hat-trick.

A date has not yet been set for our game, but will be announced soon.

Last season we progressed to the fifth round of this competition, losing out 1-0 to Liverpool at Anfield. The Reds went on to win the cup for the second straight year.

Our under 18s were not in action this past weekend, and after three straight defeats we will look to get back to winning ways at home to Watford.

Meanwhile, three of our youngsters are in action for England's under 16s this week.

Abdulai Baggie, Angus MacDonald and Jacob Walcott are all in the squad for the Victory Shield decider against Scotland.

Victory in the match over Scotland will see Kenny Swain's men take the cup for the seventh straight year.
