Four of our Academy players can be proud of their achievements as England's under 16s lifted the Victory Shield this week.

Abdulai Baggie [pictured] and Angus MacDonald both started for Kenny Swain's team on Thursday night as they beat Scotland 2-1 to seal the trophy for a seventh straight year.

Jacob Walcott was on the bench for that game, while another of our lads Tom Browne has also been involved in the victorious campaign.

The first game of the four-team series saw England host Northern Ireland. Browne and MacDonald started in that game, while Walcott came on as a sub.

The next match was a 2-0 win over Wales, with Baggie starting.

It has been a hugely beneficial series for our players, who have lined up in front of live Sky Sports cameras, as well as crowds of up to 3,610.

All at the Club would like to congratulate our boys for their success.
