The Royal Families are a fundraising group set up by our players' wives and girlfriends in support of local charities.

They ran a series of fundraising events during the 2006/7 Premiership season, raising more than £112,000.

The first event was a Champagne Tasting Party at Madejski Stadium which raised an incredible £32,544 - more than half the targeted total for the entire season!

On New Year's Day, a car park party was held at Costco before our West Ham game.

In mid January, the Royal Families met with the Countess of Wessex after Her Royal Highness heard about their good work.

The Valentine's Day ball raised an incredible £21,500, which took the Royal Families well past their £60,000 target for the season.

On 5th March a Race Night was held at Madejski Stadium, raising another £18,000.

At the beginning of April, our players strutted their stuff for a fashion show that took the funds raised past £100,000.

Later in April, a Golf Day at Sandford Springs raised more than £12,000. Pictures and details.

The Michael Parkinson dinner scheduled for early May was postponed due to the team's footballing commitments.
